Spectre is the leader in the bowling industry for pro shops worldwide. Bowling ball are custom drilled for every customer, therefore their specs need to be saved somewhere other than paper, hence Spectre was created.
Developed in 2017 as a stand-alone app on the Apple and Android App-Stores, we saw rapid growth because of the need in the industry at the time.
In 2019, we launched our v2 of Spectre, still in the AppStores, now adding Windows capabilities, and adding a new code base for use on a larger slew of devices. We also launched our cloud synching service called Spectre PRO which allowed proshops to share data between multiple devices.
In 2022, we launched our current version called Spectre Cloud. This is a fully cloud based service that runs on any web browser. We decided to pivot away from the AppStores because of the complexity and lack of control over each transaction. Going to a cloud self-managed platform allows for quick updates and infinite amount of device compatibilities.
Spectre Cloud is now the industry flagship used in over 250 bowling proshops worldwide.
