This is our first venture outside the bowling industry, however this product touches any business that does small parcel shipping.
The case for Metabox was to create an easy handheld solution that can be learned in one walk thru the system. Many warehouse clerks already have alot to manage on the floor and we felt it was too difficult to train new hirees on all different carrier front-ends, therefore we built an easy to use mobile friendly frontend that communicates with every carrier. This allows for efficiencies with the employees and the only physical hardware on the warehouse floor is a network label printer, that’s it.
Integrating with Sage300, allows businesses to do the shipping and invoicing steps right away once the parcel is closed and tagged with the carrier’s sticker.
This integration allowed us to get multiple R&D grants from the Canadian Government and we are proud to bring this new technologies to SMB’s across the globe.
